Delete your Hari account

You can delete your Hari account and its data at any time. Hari and our email app Extra share one account, so deleting your account deletes it in both apps, including every mailbox you connected.

Delete in the app

• Open Hari and tap Settings.
• Go to Your account.
• Tap Delete account and confirm.

Deletion starts right away and runs in the background. It cannot be undone. Hari signs you out and removes your account data from your device.

Delete by email

If you can no longer use the app, email help@buildforever.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Hari account." We may ask you to verify that the account is yours before deleting it.

What we delete

• Your account, profile, phone number and push notification tokens.
• Email, calendar and contact data we stored from your connected Google and Microsoft accounts.
• Your Spaces, agents, messages, notes, memory, uploaded files, photos and generated results.
• Your connections: we revoke Hari's access to your Google account, remove your Microsoft sync, disconnect apps you connected, remove bank and payment connections, and delete your cloud browser profiles and website sign-ins.
• Email labels that Hari or Extra created in your Gmail account.

What we keep, and for how long

• Messages in other people's shared Spaces: messages you posted in a Space someone else owns stay in that Space, shown as from a former participant.
• Backups: copies in our database backups are removed within 7 days.
• Logs: operational logs that may contain your email address are deleted within 30 days, and security and audit logs within two years.
• Product analytics: usage records in our analytics tools are not removed automatically. Email help@buildforever.com and we will delete them.
• Model training and evaluation: email details (sender, subject line and a short preview) previously used to train or evaluate our email categorization models may remain in those datasets.
• Legal obligations: information we must keep to comply with law, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Only want to disconnect Google or Microsoft?

You can remove Hari's access to Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or to Microsoft at account.live.com/consent/Manage (work or school accounts: myapps.microsoft.com). This stops syncing but keeps the data we already stored. Delete your account to remove it.
